The National Association of Specialty Pharmacy (NASP) and ProCE on Thursday announced the NASP Center for Specialty Pharmacy Education (CSPE) will house online education programs for pharmacists and other health care professionals working in specialty pharmacy.
The CSPE will launch tis fall, and NASP members will have preferred access to its education programs.
"NASP is pleased to join with ProCE to create the premier online education resource for specialty pharmacy," NASP Executive Director Jim Smeeding said. "Education is an important component of NASP's mission."
Smeeding said that in addition to the Center for Specialty Pharmacy Education, NASP will be working with ProCE on education programs for the 2015 NASP Annual Meeting & Expo, from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1 at the Gaylord National Harbor near Washington, D.C.
"ProCE is honored to work with NASP in the development of the Center for Specialty Pharmacy Education," ProCE President Richard Lewis said. "NASP's commitment to quality education opportunities to improve practice and patient care is commendable. By joining with NASP, ProCE's reach into this fast-paced field is greatly enhanced."
NASP is the national association for all stakeholders in the specialty pharmacy industry. ProCE is a provider of continuing education for health care professionals.
