Cerner, Vectramind enter health care collaboration
The service would include messaging services of different capabilities, near-field communication and the ability to encrypt messages. With these capabilities, Cerner clients will be able use real-time health information and data to better manage care.
"Cerner clients will have greater reach to their patient populations, whether it's alerting of operational KPI's, appointment reminders, targeted condition management campaigns, or even marketing campaigns in general," Michael Pomerance, vice president and managing director of Cerner Middle East, said. "Additionally and specialized for Dubai, the solution will be utilized to manage the required notifications to the patients for pharmacy benefits, eClaims, eReferrals and eAuthorizations."
Cerner focuses on information technology for the health care sector and their services have been used in the care of individual patients in clinics and have allowed organizations to manage population health.
"This new relationship will bring to all of Cerner's clients a tool for using mobile messaging technology that can be integrated with Cerner's EMR and population health platforms," Vectramind founder and CEO Murali Krishna said.
Vectramind is a leading provider of corporate level communication services in the UAE.
