Argus Health Systems today announced the renewal of a contract with Humana Inc. in which it will deliver pharmacy claims processing, reporting and other administration services to Humana.
Argus, a DST Systems company that provides pharmacy and health management solutions to important health care organizations, has been assisting Humana's core pharmacy benefit initiatives for 10 years. The new agreement extends the contract through June 2020.
"Our pharmacy management business has made significant investment in its clinical, network, and analytic capabilities, all with an eye toward helping companies like Humana effectively manage their member populations," DST’s Healthcare segment CEO and President Jonathan Boehm said. "We've come to know Humana well over the last 10 years, and I'm confident in our ability to support their continued growth over the next five."
DST expands its health care services contributions to tackle the evolving needs of the industry. Through combining its medical and pharmacy understandings with analytics, DST is making and implementing solutions that encourage better clinical and financial results.
