Medline recently entered into a five-year deal to provide E&I Cooperative Services' more than 3,700 members around the nation with a strong line of products and services.
Members of the non-profit sourcing cooperative, particularly those in the higher education fields such as medical schools and research laboratories, will gain access to Medline's vaccines, pharmaceuticals, over-the-counter products and flu vaccine pre-book program complete with clinical and marketing support.
“It is important for us to ensure that our contract portfolio reflects the ever-changing needs of our members,” E&I CEO Tom Fitzgerald said. “This agreement for pharmaceutical products and programs represents a considerable value for our members in this specialized area. Medline is a recognized market leader with a solid understanding of the educational space and we are excited about this partnership.”
Not only will E&I members be able to receive these products in a timely manner as Medline has more than 40 distribution centers across the United States, but members will also benefit from competitive pricing and savings.
“As our relationship with E&I Cooperative Services continues to expand, it creates exciting new opportunities for members to streamline their purchasing," John Ahearn, senior vice president of research and education at Medline, said. "Because of Medline’s extensive supply chain experience, we are in a unique position to offer leading-edge products and solutions to E&I’s members."
