Swisslog highlights significant accomplishments made in 2015

Swisslog Healthcare Solutions recently reflected on the past year by releasing a list of its key achievements.

First and foremost, in 2015, the Denver-based health care automation solutions provider celebrated 100 years of innovation with events recognizing its countless milestones from becoming the first to install pneumatic tube systems in hospitals to developing the first fully integrated software for pharmacy inventory management.

Another one of its milestones happened in 2015 which was the launch of Nexus Station. This is the first quiet pneumatic tube system offering health systems multiple carrier management, queuing and controlled delivery.

Swisslog pneumatic tube systems were featured in an episode of How2Media's popular television show "World's Greatest!..." that aired in the spring. Viewers were provided with an in-depth look on how the systems came about.

Other major accomplishments made by Swisslog in 2015 included the development of a comprehensive customer care program and sponsoring the first Supply Chain Consolidation Forum in collaboration with the Journal of Healthcare Contracting. The forum brought together health system executives to discuss new distribution strategies.

Swisslog was also named one of the top 50 "Companies to Watch in 2015" by Robotics Business Review.
