McKesson unveils two ClaimsXten programs to streamline payments

McKesson Health Solutions recently introduced two solutions to help expedite the payment process.

These programs are called ClaimsXten 6.0 and ClaimsXten Select 2.0. Both options are designed to accelerate the payment and reimbursement process. They will also help cut down on the cost and difficulty of mixed fee-for-service and value-based models.

ClaimsXten 6.0 was created for larger health plans, giving payers the option to make automatic payments. It also simplifies medical policies and helps users access and understand clinical and reimbursement rules associated with their policies. It offers extensive customization features as well. ClaimsXten Select 2.0 was designed to help users deal with small to midsized plans and policies and uses the same features as ClaimsXten 6.0. It is offered as a SaaS (Software as a Service) or as an on-premise offering.

McKesson designed these two programs to adapt to the ever-changing online landscape, hoping to offer more value to users who utilize online payments, no matter the size of their policy. The contemporary payment models of the ClaimsXten programs will help users balance payments while still providing support for systems that use current payment options.
