NACDS announces RFP for two $300,000 awards
As described in the RFP, applicants will create and implement payment models that are based on the value of the care received by patients. The payment models are meant to be accessible and replicable and result in an increased rate of immunizations for people found in the state registry. These model will also feature the sharing of information in new and unique ways.
The demonstration projects described in the RFP are the result of objectives laid out by the NACDS when it received an $800,000 grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The grant will span two years and is anticipated to research and discover new collaborations in the health care field to increase the rate of immunizations in pharmacies for influenza, pneumococcal, pertussis and herpes zoster.
Applicants for the NACDS’s RFP must indicate their intention to apply by March 4 through email. Their RFP responses are due on April 1.
