Jim Daly to join Halozyme board of directors

Halozyme Therapeutics Inc. announced today that it has selected Jim Daily to join its board of directors.

Daly has 30 years of experience in the leadership of United States and worldwide businesses as a biopharmaceutical executive.

From 2012 to 2015, Daly served as the EVP and chief commercial officer for Incyte Corp. Before his time with Incyte, he was Amgen’s SVP of North America Commercial Operations, Global Marketing and Commercial Development. He was charged with P&L for all U.S. and Canadian businesses. Daly was also the VP and general manager for Amgen’s Oncology Business Unit.

Daly earned his a bachelor of science in pharmacy and master of business administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo before starting his career in the pharmaceutical industry at GlaxoSmithKline. At GlaxoSmithKline, Daly held varying positions that saw his responsibilities increase. These positions included SVP and general manager of the Respiratory and Anti-infective Business Unit and SVP of U.S. marketing.
