McKesson recently announced the release of Conserus Imaging Fellow.

This new innovative solution was developed to automate and simplify clinical data by combining it with Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) information and other sources of data, including electric health records (EHRs). Conserus Imaging Fellow provides information that is relevant to certain clinical care situations during the care process by making it available in its imaging cockpit.

The Conserus Imaging Fellow uses McKesson’s expertise in imaging and workflow to give physicians all the information they need when diagnosing a patient and making it readily available during that stage of the care process. It provides physicians a complete picture while helping them make the right diagnosis.

Many EHRs that are being instituted in clinics have made patient information digital, but have had trouble translating the data when it comes time to use it during care. This is due to the physicians having to search through immense amounts of data. Conserus Imaging Fellow makes this process easier by automating the data in accordance with the current task and making it available through its imaging cockpit.

The information displayed in the imaging cockpit includes lab results, medications, lists of problems, and pathology reports and notes.
