Pharmacy Podcast Show marks 300th episode

The Pharmacy Podcast Show recently marked a milestone — its 300th episode.

The audio-driven blog covers a vast array of topics and guest interviews, all related to the business end of the pharmacy field, as well as creative marketing, digital health, career coaching and entrepreneurship. It was launched in March 2009.

“It started out as a way to collaborate with other pharmacy technology and automation providers who I wanted to work with or learn more about,” Todd S. Eury, founder and publisher of the podcast, said. “It’s been one of the most successful ways to learn about the pharmacy industry and I have gained tremendous knowledge and insight from over 300 interviews with industry thought leaders.”

The 300th episode, which aired June 1, also celebrated a new website, format and digital health content marketing services.

“The Pharmacy Podcast provides an original perspective to relevant issues within our complex health care systems," Solera Specialty Pharmacy CEO Nicholas Saraniti said. "As a specialty pharmacy stakeholder I value the interviews and insights from the show’s intriguing platform. I usually listen during my morning commute.”

The featured guest on the 300th episode was Emilie Ray, president of pharmaceutical company McKesson’s Technology and Services division, who said she was "honored and excited" for the opportunity.
