Walgreens honored by American Ireland Fund

Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc. was recently honored by the American Ireland Fund at the 32nd Annual Chicago Dinner by awarding it with the American Ireland Fund Corporate Social Responsibility Award.
Walgreens Boots Alliance received the award for its dedication to and investment in both north and south Ireland.
“I’m honored to accept this award on behalf of all my dedicated colleagues, and we recognize the challenge of this award to continue our strong corporate citizenship,” Walgreens Boots Alliance Senior Vice President Patrick Dunne said. “We are committed to being a standout global company through initiatives focused on the communities we serve, the environment, the marketplace and our workplace.”
Walgreens Boots Alliance is the fifth company based out of Chicagoland area to win the award from the American Ireland Fund.
