A $1.15 per share dividend was
recently declared by Amgen's Board of Directors for the first quarter of next
year.
March 8 of next year has been set
as the date that the dividend will be paid to all stockholders of record as of the
close of business Feb. 15. The new share dividend represents a 15
percent increase compared to the dividends paid in the previous four quarters.
