Spartanburg County, South Carolina has received a donation of opioid antidote.
Through the generosity of Smith Drug Co., Spartanburg County has received $6,000 of naloxone, adminstered via Narcan spray.
This donation can be administered by anyone, allowing those who have experienced an opioid overdose instant aid rather than having to wait for experiences medical professionals.
Smith Drug Co.'s donation of 60 Opiate Overdose Kits will be shared throughout the Spartanburg County Sheriff's office and the Spartanburg Police Department, as many times law enforcement officials will be at the scene of an incident before EMS will.
