PCCA and Eagle have recognized outstanding employees in their North American operations during recent annual celebrations. The honors were given to individuals who demonstrated the companies’ core values and commitment to service.
On January 24, PCCA CEO Gus Bassani and COO Fabian Zaccardo presented the PCCA USA Kay Sparks Team Member of the Year award to Le’tresa Girdy, Planning Manager, Supply Chain. Eagle President Ross Caputo also honored Dr. Neha Hulyalkar, Microbiology Supervisor for Sterile, Non-Cleanroom Lab Operations, as Eagle’s 2025 Employee of the Year. Earlier, on December 5 at the PCCA Canada holiday celebration, General Manager Amanda Cassel named Dakota Tant from Sales and Service Support as PCCA Canada Employee of the Year.
Nominees and recipients are selected by their colleagues based on how well they exemplify company values throughout the year.
Before presenting the USA award, board member Bryan Sparks paid tribute to his mother, Kay Sparks. She was a compounding training course instructor with more than 30 years at PCCA and was known for her dedication to teaching and attention to detail. The award has honored her legacy since her passing in 2012.
“Our 2025 Team Member of the Year is a true embodiment of our Core Values and Principles,” said Bassani before announcing this year’s recipient.
Zaccardo spoke about Girdy’s influence on organizational efficiency: “Le’tresa quarterbacks the entire order process from start to finish. Her collaboration across departments — including Purchasing, Receiving, Quality, Warehouse and Production — is a major reason PCCA consistently delivers strong results for our customers.” Dr. Caputo commented on Dr. Hulyalkar’s leadership: “Her actions set a positive example for the team,” he said. “She manages to keep the team in high spirits, creating a positive and more productive environment through her unwavering commitment to results.”
Cassel highlighted Tant’s dedication: “Dakota is always available to help with a smile,” she noted. “Whether it is a customer or a co-worker, he understands the importance of building strong relationships and consistently goes above and beyond what is asked.”
PCCA provides products, education, and support services for independent compounding pharmacies and health systems in multiple countries including the United States, Canada, Australia, among others. The organization serves over 3,000 pharmacy members worldwide through its comprehensive resources.
